Il Cantiere del Gusto, an offshoot of Cantiere della Provvidenza, opened its doors in December 2013 at number 69 in Via Vittorio Veneto in Belluno at the junction with the Baldenich neighborhood. In this novel eating establishment you can sample all the delights of our new “K Line” including the Kebabelù, made from locally sourced meat, vegetables and a delicate sauce, the Kepastìn (with “pastìn”, a type of local sausage), the Kerformài (with cheese), the Kemare, (our seafood speciality), the Keverdura (with vegetables) and other variations depending on the imagination of our chefs.
The desire to promote and support the whole territory of the Province of Belluno has led The Tasting Room Workshop to offer its clients all the specialities of the region, using original recipes reimagined by our young chefs: in our dishes in fact you can enjoy foods produced across the whole area from Feltre to Comelico.
Our affection and attachment to our region is on full display in this restaurant, as is the business challenge we set ourselves to commercialize and promote our local products in order to demonstrate their quality and rediscover ancient flavors.
Born of the need to generate employment The Tasting Room Workshop is run by three young people who are enthusiastic about their work. One of them is passionate about local recipes and typical products, another takes care of organization and logistics, and the third contrives to combine different flavors and aromas, juxtaposing and playing with tradition and innovation.
Our dishes may be enjoyed in the relaxing ambience of the restaurant or in the comfort of your own home by using the take-out option.
Il Cantiere del Gusto also offers a catering service for events, ceremonies and parties in collaboration with Fuori Menù (Off the Menu) run by the AIPD of Belluno.
